American Legion Ft. Lauderdale Post 36

Also known as the William C. Morris Post, this Legion has a total Veteran membership of 400+ which includes the Auxiliary, Sons of Legion, and Freedom Motorcycle Riders. All these groups meet at the post.

The Legion sponsors Community Service with Broward County Sheriff Department / Broward Police Department, and Boys State & Girls State (programs that teach students about our U.S. government).

This post participates in St. Patrick's Day Parade, AVERS (American Veterans for Equal Rights), and River-walk Memorial Bricks for Fallen Broward County Soldiers Every Memorial Day & Veterans Day.
